Progress is finally being made on our promise to list at the lighthouse major contributors to the lighthouse restoration campaign. A company has finally been selected (the plaque will be bronze) and the order has been placed. Yes!
There will definitely be a celebration of the placement of that plaque when the lighthouse celebrates its 100th birthday next summer! Thanks to all for your patience in this issue!

January 18, 2008 update: The company has finished our plaque! It will be delivered soon and ready for installation this summer! Finally!!!
And this rather unclear photo is just a tease! The plaque, now in our possession, is bronze and it will truly be a fine addition to our lighthouse.
Watch for further details pertaining to the formal dedication ceremony to be held this summer!
