Imagine the CYC Commodore, while mowing his lawn on Friday, May 28, trying to determine the location of a very loud whistle. Looking all around, he finally spotted a bass boat with pro bass fisherman, Dave Barnes, waving frantically. He yelled, "Grab your camera and jump on the boat!" Dave, you see, had spotted a moose that apparently decided to take an afternoon exercise jaunt by swimming across the lake not too far north of the Commodore's home on the west shore. Enjoy these few pictures the Commodore was able to shoot before she completed her swim, climbed gracefully up the bank, and disappeared off into the nearby wooded area. Looked like she was experienced at this! What a sight! What a magnificent animal!
And off she went!
