Friends of the Cobbossee Watershed Annual Cocktail Party
On Wednesday, August 19, 2009, the 7th Annual Friends Cocktail Fundraising Party was held at the home of Ed and Lynn Gall on Lake Cobbosseecontee. The Marcia Gallagher Jazz Quartet provided this year's background music, White Flour Catering again provided the hors d'oeuvres, and Maine humorist Gary Crocker was this year's entertaining guest auctioneer.
The setting for the party was perfect, the weather was cooperative, boat rides on the Otter II were offered, the food was delicious, the music was a delight, and the auction of some very interesting items brought in contributions that are 100% dedicated to Friend's programs.
