Your Commodore recently received from Harvey, his History of the Ware Road, "Which archived the family history of nine cottages, one of the first real estate developments on the East Shore of Cobbossee." We thank him for taking the time to put this all together, for sharing it with us, and for allowing us to put it here on our website. This is an important piece of the history of Lake Cobbosseecontee.
In his letter to us, Harvey reminds us that, "Local history is important for many reasons. It says so much about who we are." We heartily agree with him and encourage others to follow his example.
