Do you recognize the following picture locations?
Take a guess, then click on the photo to see the actual location. All of these were taken on the afternoon of April 16, 2007. Ice out sure is later than 2006, but just how late is it? Any chance that ice-out will occur by Sunday, April 21? Some have informed us that it will be at least Monday before a general clearing takes place although your Commodore had earlier predicted sometime Sunday. What do you think?
How about we have an "ice-out contest" next year? Sound like a plan? Let us know at:
So, is your boat in the water? Are you ready to do a little fishing? Are you maybe just ready for spring and maybe even summer? Are you???
So, how did you do?
Were these locations around our lake familiar to you? Please remember, you may send us your photographs at any time for publication. Again, our address is:commodore@cycmaine.org.Thanks!
