Our annual July concert was another success according to those who have reported back to the Commodore. Estimates on attendance have ranged from 75 to 175 boats with the Commodore's count closer to the latter. Did you count the number of boats? Does it matter? It seems that all who participated had just a great time even though, rain again shortened the performance by the School Street Band. And the best news? Some $600 was collected by Bill and Molly Kieltyka as they motored around in Buddy and Martha Richards little rubber dingy. Thanks to all of you who so generously deposited money in Molly's outstretched fishnet!
Check out the cash in that net! And thanks to Clark Marine for again sponsoring this popular Concert in Horseshoe Cove!
Awesome! Such a magnificent bird! Photo taken on the south side of Horseshoe Island.
Thanks to John Stanek for all the above photographs taken at the July 28th concert, and to he, Mary Beth and crew for annually tackling the task of dragging the dock around the island so the band has good firm footing on which to set up!
