CYC Annual Meeting Augusta Country Club July 15, 2007
Members of the Cobbosseecontee Yacht Club gathered at the Augusta Country Club on this date for their Annual Meeting, an opportunity to enjoy some great company, partake of a wonderful meal (thanks to Hank and his staff), elect officers and committee members, and hear all the up-to-date information from around the watershed thanks to our guest speakers.
Following dinner and the business portion of the meeting, Bill Kieltyka spoke of upcoming sailing regattas and Bob Moore updated us on the progress and current involvements of the Friends of the Cobbossee Watershed.
Our featured speaker of the evening was Kevin Anderson from the Maine Warden Service who showed a short, fascinating, video on being a warden in Maine, and then concluded with a PowerPoint presentation focused on Lake Cobbosseecontee. It was a fine presentation, indeed!
All-in-all, by the frequent comments heard, it would seem that the evening was a great success. Good food, good company, an opportunity to learn more about our spectacular Lake Cobbosseecontee.....what better way to spend a showery, summer Sunday evening in Maine!

Invited as guests, and recognized at this evening's meeting, were members Andy and Sheree Wess from the Lakeside Motel and Cabins. They were specifically thanked for their 18 year dedication to the Special Olympics of Maine, for their committment to our lake, and for their effort to assist the CYC. Again, "Thank you Andy and Sheree!"
