Another Great CYC Day on the Water Saturday July 23 in Horseshoe Cove
The morning showers cleared in time and the annual concert in Horseshoe Cove began on time to the delight of hundreds of party minded souls. And a great day it turned out to be with temperatures in the 90s and the water just delightful. Great music by our favorite School Street Band kept folks entertained although we promise that next year we have a plan in the works to attempt to give those further back a bit more volume. As you can imagine this is no easy task, but we shall make an attempt to work out the technical details! It was however, a marvelous party and that comes as no surprise. We believe School Street Band is just a perfect group for this July celebration, and we again thank Bruce and the group for coming back. They put much time and effort (work) into setting up for this most unusual setting; yet, they do say it's one of their favorite gigs!
Thanks again also must go to Clark Marine of Manchester our sponsor for this event. Without their commitment the CYC could not put the money donated directly into its Lake Preservation Fund. And speaking of donations...thank you, thank you, thank you! This year? Well, we can tell you that the amount deposited in the fishnet is in excess of $1,300! Amazing! Awesome! Thank you! And thanks as well to Bill and Molly Kieltyka and Tom and Isaac Johnson for their help in collecting.
