Our CYC Annual Meeting was held on July 10 at the, "A Rise and Shine B&B," and what a fine day it was indeed! The only question seems to be, "Why are we getting only 50 in attendance when we used to get well over 80?" The setting was magnificent. The weather was cooperative, too cooperative for some who found the heat a bit oppressive but we shan't complain, and the food was delicious! Ken Smith of the Friends of the Cobbossee Watershed and Bill Monagle spoke to us regarding their respective organizations and their endeavors, a slate of officers and executive committee members was elected, and Bill Kieltyka shared information regarding the Cobbossee Sailing Fleet's summer racing. This was a very successful annual meeting. Patty Marston was the winner of the 50-50 drawing and she turned her share back over to the CYC. Thank you, Patty!
