Great turnout for this one! And being the day after the fourth it was apparent that many still wanted to celebrate and enjoy the absolutely great outdoor weather! A few arrived by boat in spite of the stiff winds and some neighbors walked on over to join the festivities!
And let the sale of Raffle Tickets begin! The Commodore showed off the Paul Plumer pen and ink drawing of the CYC lighthouse and announced that the original will be raffled off at our final Boat-in of the year, September 6, at the Marston Cottage in Manchester. Tickets will be available at all of our summer events at $5 each, 6 for $25.
Prints, numbered and signed, are also available for $45. We began with only 100 of these so be sure to get yours as soon as possible. They too will be available at all events. Unsigned prints are available as well and sell for only $25!
Boat begin to arrive at the Farrell Boat-in/Drive-in.
Now here, as always, was the popular spot to be! But, have the pudding shots arrived???
