CYC Party at the Home of Mary Blouin June 27, 2009
The Boat-in Drive-in parties are a popular continuing tradition with the Cobbosseecontee Yacht Club! Here are some photos taken of the most recent party held at the beautiful home of Mary Blouin on the northeast shore of the lake. As you can see, the event was well attended and, with great good fortune for sure, the weather held and a very nice sunny (believe it or not) evening ensued! Per usual, the food was great and the company was the best.
Earlier this year in January, CYC parties started off at the home of the Commodore and his wife followed by two other winter gatherings at John and Carol Dean's home in February and Bob and Sandy Stubb's home in March.
Our first summer Boat-in Drive-in was held at the home of Debbi and John Farrell on the southwest shore in Monmouth. To date, no pictures of these events have arrived; however, they presented the continuing opportunity for our club members and guests to get together for a relaxing and enjoyable evening of conversation and snacks.

Have you hosted yet? Let us know if you would like to do so. Email the Commodore today. We still have an opening or two for August, and the winter parties for the last Saturdays in January, February, and March, 2010 are all available! You do not have to do anything fancy to host! No catering required! Simply provide a few drink mixes, some light hors d'oeuvres and your ready to go! The events are all BYOB. Remember, we are not fancy, not fussy (just love to socialize), and it really is fun!

Please Note: There is no party on the 4th of July. Enjoy the day with your family! And on the following weekend, Sunday, June 12 is our Annual Meeting at the Augusta Country Club so there is also no party Saturday, June 11 either.
So, look forward to another great CYC Boat-in (do not drive in for this one, please!) on the 18th of July at the home of John and Mary Beth Stanek on Horseshoe Island. This you do not want to miss.
